Some of the services provided by the Medicare approved Psychologists at Bendigo Psychology are eligible for a Medicare rebate.  This means that part of the overall consultation fee can be reimbursed by Medicare.  Each consultation fee is made up of a rebateable portion and a "gap" fee that is the portion that you contribute without rebate.

 

For instance, if the consultation fee was $140 and the Medicare rebate was $95, there is a "gap" (or an amount each client contributes that is not refundable) of $45.  We advise you to ask at the time of booking about the fee for the consulation and the amount you can expect to pay and be "out of pocket" if you receive a Medicare rebate.

 

Referring General Practitioners, Psychitarists and Paediatricians can determine whether you are eligible for a rebate under the Medicare scheme.
